Kandelia is seeking applicants for at-large positions on our Board of Directors. We are at a point of transition and growth and are looking for individuals who are committed to serving immigrant and refugee communities, and who are aligned with our organizational values. Open AYAB positions:

Kandelia Alumni Youth Advisory Board — Now Accepting Members

Kandelia is launching its first-ever Alumni Youth Advisory Board, a small group of young adults who attended Seattle Public Schools as Multilingual Learners after 2020.

Advisory Board members will meet once a month from October 2026 through April 2027 (no meeting in December) and are expected to attend six meetings. Members will receive $400 stipend for their participation.

This is a chance to share your experience and perspective, and to help shape the programs and partnerships that support immigrant and refugee students today.
